“ Teruar Urla delivers a focused, micro seasonal tasting in a serene stone house with a view. My visit was strong across the board, and the dessert was the best I have had at any Michelin restaurant. Portions run small by design, so maybe thats the only minus thing I have. There are rooms on site if you want to turn dinner into an overnight, which fits the destination feel of the place. ”

“ An evening at Teruar Urla felt like a journey through garden, sea & tradition. From a refreshing amuse-bouche with green tomato, cucumber & Armenian cucumber from their own garden, to delicate bites & creations like Karaburun tuna with green pepper & wine leaves, Ozbek blue-tailed shrimp with sweet corn & black garlic, or peach with bitter almond & marjoram – every dish told its own story. A fine dining experience that touches not only the palate, but also the soul. ”

“ The place is intimate and feels nice. Table sizes are good, atmosphere provides good ambiance for conversations. The food was in general good although some components of the menu do not feel top quality, maybe it’s just this specific season. The service was kind. I like their dishes and cutlery. It was a good experience and I can see that they care about their place. ”

“ Terruar Urla offers a serene and thoughtfully designed boutique hotel experience. The rooms are impeccably clean, the atmosphere is relaxed and elegant, and the breakfast is truly exceptional. Everything is fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. Room service is still developing, but this did not affect the quality of my stay. Dinner is crafted by the talented Osman Serdaroğlu, and his cooking is a real highlight. However, I believe the tasting menu format, which is often mandatory in Urla, should be reconsidered. On one visit alone, I chose the tasting menu and found it difficult to continue after the fourth course. This format is not suitable for everyone, and offering à la carte options would make the experience more inclusive and more aligned with sustainable dining practices. Still, Terruar is a very special place and I would gladly return, especially for the warm hospitality and unforgettable breakfast. ”
